How much does a typical clearance cost?

No two clearances are the same, they will all vary depending on the amount and nature of any waste, the accessibility, the type and amount of items that can be re-cycled or re-used and if there are any items which we can re-sell to off-set the costs. Each clearance needs to be individually assessed. Our charges though are based on the cost of disposal of any waste and the time it is likely to take to remove and dispose of the contents. We will always supply a free no obligation written quotation.

What do you do with the waste?

We are passionate about recycling to minimise the amount of waste material transferred to landfill, it also helps reduce cost. We try and use waste transfer stations that have a high re-cycling rate and wherever possible, re-useable items will be offered to charitable organizations.

Are you licensed?

Yes, we are fully licensed with the Environment Agency and we are always happy to supply a Waste Transfer Note on completion to cover your legal responsibilities.

Can you clean the property afterwards?

We always sweep and vacuum a property once the clearance has been completed and a more thorough cleaning can always be arranged should this be necessary.

Can you help me transport any items I want to keep?

Yes of course we can.

What payment methods do you accept?

We can accept payment by cheque, cash, bank transfer or debit or credit card whichever you find the easiest. If you are dealing with an estate, we can also send our invoice to your solicitors for settlement from estate funds when available. 

Do I need to be present on the day?

It is not necessary for you to be present when the work takes place but we are happy for you to attend subject to health and safety requirements. We can also liaise with your solicitors or estate agents to collect and return keys if necessary.

How soon can you help?

We can be very busy at times although we understand on occasions you may require a clearance undertaken quickly and we will always try our utmost to work within your time frame. Normally though we can clear a property within a week or two of accepting our quote.
